An interesting card. I'm actually kind of glad I started doing this blog/RCotD because I get to see a lot of interesting cards that would probably never see play, yet have very interesting, yet narrow thoughts on it.
So first off, it has a cantrip. That makes the card at least decent. Instant speed is also a plus. Not placing a land and setting a tempo of a game is also pretty good.
But yet somehow, this card seems weak. Most specifically it's because of the color it's in. If this card was blue, it would be absurd. You don't care for tempo in the sense that you're stopping someone, you care that you are the one setting it. I mean, fire is known for being destructive, quick, and burning out, so why are you playing to stop your opponent? That's not exactly taking advantage of what Red can bring to the field. But I suppose it works nonetheless. 3/5
