Initial thoughts:

I used to love this card. It was the first rare I was excited about. Probably because it was the first "Lord" creature I ever had. Not this version, but the 7th edition.

I used to run crappy Goblin cards like Goblin Digging Team or Goblin Gardener, just for the fact that they were goblins. I only had one Goblin King, but I didn't care. I even splashed blue for Razorfin Hunter.

To believe that this card used to give +1/+1 to itself, like some of those slivers. Still a classic card, that hasn't really evolved much since beta. They just turned Mountainwalk into Haste with Goblin Chieftain. Still 4/5.
