Initial Thoughts:
Slivers. Okay so I guess the closest thing to compare this to is Birds of Paradise. But it is important to note that it has 1 power. And because of this, it works with Brood Sliver.
In my friend's Sliver deck, it was actually fairly common for him to play Heart Sliver, and then Gemhide Sliver, and next turn proceed to play out his hand. Of course, back then I really didn't have AoE clears.
I still stand by what I said slivers a long time ago in RCotD #8: "I always imagined Slivers as the WUBRG elf." Hyper synergy, super aggressive, shut down by board wipes. But this sliver in particular didn't cause problems for me, it was the ramp that this sliver brought out, especially with Sliver Overlord on the field. 4/5
