Whenever a creature attacks, Caltrops deals 1 damage to it.
Initial Thoughts:
I used to own this card--or atleast the 7th Edition of it. Back then, I thought it was awesome--until I realized it hit my own creatures. I was a newbie back then, but now I look at it as more of a Circle of Flame for any color. Circle of Flame is pretty good, but Caltrops deals damage to flying creatures too, and in the event of a multiplayer game, works on all attacking creatures, not just creatures attacking you.
If anything it stops a bunch of stuff in Limited. Including those Lightning Elementals that keep getting reprinted. I really hate that card in drafts, probably because I'm too stupid to play around it.
Still a fantastic control card, and as a plus it can go in any color. 4/5
